It's my new Bible!
This will be my Bible for my new school counseling career starting this year. I'm trained in research and data collecting but this book will take that knowledge and help me apply it to my new career. It's of vital importance that school counselors of today chart and support the effectiveness of their work with students in order to keep their jobs from being on the budget chopping block. This book is written by the master counselor Dr. Trish Hatch, who has been an extremely hard-working advocate for our jobs as school counselors and has fought so hard to give us a voice in this often misunderstood profession. This book helps anyone from beginners to advanced data collectors and is quite lovely to read. Thumbs way way up.

Great Text; Needs Updating
The author has a wealth of school counseling program knowledge, and she presents the importance of using data in comprehensive school counseling programs in an effective and practical manner. The text, however, needs to be updated to the ASCA National Model 4th Edition language.
A must have for school counselors!
