Greast for sewing nylon strapping
Bought this for sewing nylon strapping and it has worked great so far. The thread is thick and sturdy. make sure you have a heavy duty sewing machine or buy some heavy duty sewing needles

Very nice quality thread!
I love this thread!! I have bought many of the colors, it is super good quality and the colors are perfect for all my projects.. Only complaint is I need even more colors.. would love the see a burgandy, pink, and a better hunter green.. otherwise love it..

Smooth, slick, and VERY STRONG
First, this spool is huge.....it should last a very long time. Second, was amazed at how strong the thread is. I am accustomed to being able to break the thread from a standard spool if I need to remove some stitches....not so with this thread. I CANNOT break this thread, which is great because then I never have to worry about my project having a seam break. There is one very minor (to me) downside to this thread - the cut end will unravel a short way each time it is cut. For me that is not a big deal at all since all I have to do is give it a fresh cut before threading a needle (or making a loop in the thread to go through the eye of the needle) and, as long as I lock in my stiches on the machine I am good to go. I am seriously going to look to see if there are other colors which I might be able to use in such a large quantity!

Nice!
Nice, sliky, smooth thread. Worked nicely so far for a leather item I sewed. A lot of thread! Came in a nice package. It does come apart a bit/unravels at the end. I just forgot it is not for a regular sewing machine and underestimated the size. I had to thread it myself onto a spool that would fit my machine.

excellent product - but consider size
Excellent product, works very well for my application. Sewing patches onto Cordura and leather. Be sure to consider the spool size on your machine. The spool is HUGE and didnt fit well on a residential machine well. I've made it work - but if this would be a problem for you - pick up an empty spool that fits and thread this on it.

Tough Thread
I purchased this to use on nylon webbing being used to adapt a seat to a kayak. This thread is very tough and is holding up well so far. Anyone using this for similar purposes will need to make sure they are using very stong needles in a sewing machine.

Good as far as I can tell.
This is my first experience using #69 thread so I have nothing to compare with and can not comment on whether or not this actually is #69 thread as some other reviewers have. I had a project that involved sewing 500D Cordura nylon and #69 was the recommended thread type. I knew I would have to purchase in a larger quantity than I was going to need so I shopped for price, that’s why I purchased this specifically. Here’s my experience... I was using it to sew 500D Cordura Nylon and 12 oz. denim on a Janome home sewing machine using a size 16/100 needle. The thread consists of a twist of three strands. When cut the strands want to unravel unless you use VERY sharp scissors. This can make needle threading challenging. The thread is very tough; you won’t be “unsewing” by pulling seams apart, have your seam ripper handy. Sometimes the threads will “fuzz” when going through the eye of the needle and if the machine hasn’t jammed when you noticed it then it will unless you cut the thread and rethread the needle. The thread requires a MUCH higher tension setting than usual, definitely test on some scrap and adjust before beginning to work. I don’t believe this is a problem with my machine but a function of the thread; I could not do a tight zig zag (about 1 stitch length) without the machine jamming and making a bird’s nest on the underside. Wider zig zags were okay (about 2 1/2). That’s my experience. Would I buy this again? I just did, I needed another color for a new project. I’m giving it five stars because I don’t know any better not having had any other experience with #69 thread to compare this to.

Works great!
Ive never ussed upholsterly thread before and really hoped this would be strong enough to sew little carpet samples together. It works perfectly with the upholstery needles i had. REALLY STRONG!

Perfect for the job
I purchased this not knowing how much string I was actually about to use. This spool has waaaayyy too much thread, which is not a bad thing. It has officially become my go-to thread for everything I need to sew

Very easy to use
I used this product for making wigs. I was tired of the hair store thread. At first I was uncertain and didn’t know how it would turn out but I’m glad I tried it. Not only is it way easier when threading the needle but it also makes the sewing process a lot easier as well.
